Just finished a historically accurate 1/3 scale Model replica of a gatling gun. I made all the parts of the carriage with the ShopBot. The spokes were a challinage had to make them using 2 sided machining and PartWorks 3d. All the metal work and wood work took about three years every part was made from scratch nothing was purchased (Nails, Nuts, bolts, screws etc.) it was all made by hand. I only have so much time to play......too many hobbies to little time......[IMG]http://i792.photobucket.com/albums/yy204/shopman112/IMG_8415.jpg

The gatling gun carriage was made from cherry which was kind of tricky to work with. Some times it chipped some times it didn't. I made several extra spokes and wheel sections.
