I need a usb card would it give an advantge I'am getting 77.7 per cent I.am not shure if I have usb 2.0

Even if you are currently using a built in USB 2.0 port its still better to have a card that is separate from your keyboard/mouse, thumb drive, etc...

Unless the Shopbot is designed to take advantage of USB 3.0 I don't think you would see any performance gains. Since USB standards are backwards compatible I also don't se it hurting anything, but I can't say for sure.

The USB 2.0 card probably only costs 1/2 as much as well and is proven.

plus your usb 2 cable would not fit.

Yes it would. However, it would only be a USB 2.0 transmission. The 3.0 connector is backwards compatible with the 2.0 connector standard. The "3.0" part is deeper inside the connector body.

the machine went rouge yesterday

I was using a laptop got rid of it
Using a destop seem way better

I get 78% on mine, run at 12 ips for hours without a problem.

I stop using the lap top.Its seem more fluid with desk top computer intel quad 2.4 gz cuttin cabinet parts
