Hey,

I have a 23" Z and I have inadvertently changed a setting that causes my Z to retract to beyond its upper limits and I cannot stop it.

I run the Z Zero cutting routine and the spindle lowers to touch the z plate as per usual.

Normally it would now retract about an inch and then lower again at a slower pace to do the final zero.

Now it retracts all the way to the top outside of its limit and I have to shut the machine off, push it down back within its limits, in order to control it again.

Help!

:(:(:(

Go into your shopbot set up files and you can input the safe z height after zeroing. It's on the third page I think. The setup program is under tools.

That's it! Thank you. I went through the menus but I must have been having a 'boy' look. I selected mm as the units and set the safety height as 25 (for 25mm). I wonder if it only reads that as inches. I will have to test it.

Thanks again.
