Don't know if this hit anyone else yet but........
Don't EVER while in manual,...... be positioning X with the keyboard arrow key and at the same time move the mouse up clicking to shut off the router with the "Output" control on the manual screen!
1.) This results in "COMM DROP" and an exit from the software.:eek:
2.) Tried it again... yep, same thing!
3.) Now..... Trying to restart the SB software gives different errors (I can't remeber all of them).
4.) Reloaded SB control .... still same as #3.:confused:
5.) Now knee deep in MANY 4 letter words and acting like a pogo stick in auto-mode.:mad:
6.) Backed up to yesterday's "XP Restore Point", uninstalled all SB stuff including USB drivers, reloaded all SB stuff. It's bcak working! :)
7.) Go in the house, fire up the computer and KILL LOTS OF MONSTERS!
Machine:
Running SB Ver. 3.6.18
Dell 3.4Ghz P4 w/3G ram
XP Pro SP3
3 weeks ago the machine went through format C:, fresh XP install up to SP3. JUST SB Control, Aspire, VCarve Pro 5, Photo VCarve installed. NO virus protection and NO internet attachment.
