prt alpha will not reset

We have a prt alpha and had to hit the E-stop while running a file. Now the machine will not reset. Made sure the red E-stop button was up and not sticking. Even took it apart to check. Turned the power off and back on then pushed reset button and still nothing.

go to the circuit breaker box and turn the power off to the control box and let it sit for a couple minutes and that should clear out the memory because even though you turn the power off at the box it retains position and other info in memory. If that is somehow the cause of your problem then this should clear it up. It worked for me. Just keep in mind any settings you had for position, ect will be lost. Let us know if that clears it up. If not a call to tech support would be next.

Jack, thanks for the quick response. The relay was stuck. A gentle tap and it's all better.
