Here are some flicker images of two plaques I just finished on my PRSalpha 48 X 48 ShopBot for my daughter and daughter in-law.

Details:
1. Cherry Wood 3/4 X 9 X 12 blanks from "Michaels"
2. Designed from scratch using ASPIRE 3.0. I used the "Fade" modeling tool to show the depressed keys on the small keyboard seen on the back of one of the plaques. I Loveeeeee ASPIRE.
3. Relief carvings: used 1/32 nose radius solid carbide carving bit from my old CarveWright CNC machine.
4. 18000 RPM and .007 DOC.
5. V-Carving with 60 deg bit.
6. Cutting time on front side 5.5 hrs, Back side 1.0 hr.
7. Font used on text was "Melody Maker" purchased from ampsoft.net

Some of the letters on the text were 1/2" deep and very thin, but the cherry wood is very hard and the lettering stayed intact. Also notice the very small but very evident staff lines under the tall "Melody Maker" words.
