Hi everyone;

Hi All;

I've finally received my new PRS48-96 and have spent this weekend getting it all setup and assembled.

I have run into a glitch though that will probably be something really obvious for most of you, but as a newby with my first stupid question (more to follow):

Everything powers up fine except my X Axis is reversed. When I jog right (Arrow Right on keypad) it moves Left. Also, when I cut the ShopBot Logo Sample, it came out mirrored in the X Axis only.

Is there a setting I can change to reverse this in a config file somewhere or a jumper that reverses the X Axis?

Thanks in advance - Mike

The most obvious possibility to me is you have the x motor wires reversed where they plug into the control box or the motors.
It would also mean that somehow you are set up with your x zero at the wrong end of the table.

go into unit values and put ia minus sign in front of the number on the x

Thanks guys... but it was a more newbie mistake than that even. I had the X1 and X2 motors in the wrong positions. :)

Live and learn. :)

Thanks for the fast responses.
