A gift for a friend.

It's about 14" x 24"

The yoda figure was carved separately so I could paint it then attach it and leave a bit of space behind him.

Where do you guys learn how to paint like that. It just blows my mind. Is that all airbrushing? What do you clear it with when you are done or at all?

Thanks

Wade,

The painting is a learning process, and I'm on the early end of it. I did some painting in high school, and have been doing some self taught airbrush work. It's half the fun of the project for me. One thing I've done for things like Yoda...I find several reference pictures, and I use photoshop to posterize them...I reduce them to 4-8 colors. Then I try to match that...and just blend between the colors. Sometimes it seems to work ok.
