Some pics of a mission rocker I am making all tenons and mortises were cut on the bot.

Patterns for the legs and other shaped parts were cut on the bot. I then used my pin router with the patterns to shape the parts.

The wood is red oak.

Nice! I've always liked mission style and have done numerous items myself. Is the design your own or from some plans? Waiting for the finished pics. ;)

I designed it myself though the design is very common, I drew it up in cad to my specifications.

I like to design all my work even if the style is not original.

Brian - great stuff as usual! :)

How did you make the top and bottom curved rails for the seat back? Bandsaw or on the Bot? Or?

Brady I have two patterns concave and convex I will try to remember to take some pictures it will show much better than I would describe. They get shaped on my pin router.

Being biased towards furniture and chairs in particular, I like it! Good job.

Brady this is how the backs are shaped. the concave pattern is used first it has drywall screws sharpened to pins to secure the work, the convex shape uses vacuum to hold the workpiece, a bandsaw is used to trim close to the patterns.

These are example pics the backs are tenoned after shaping

Me too. I'm a sucker for anything that reminds me of Stickley.
I want to see the fumed white oak version.
