The Pic below was taken on 12/14. Shows the edge of the spoilboard. The ShopBot hadnt been used in about 5 days and the mold around the edges is very evident.
Surfacing showed over .020 of difference in thickness between the edges and the central areas that had air flow when used last. The mold emphasises how much moisture MDF (in this case Trupan ULDF)will hold.
I am sure that there are very few other shops with the humidity we have, especially this time of year, but just a visual reminder to resurface during humidity swings, especially when cutting depth critical parts.
