We will hold our annual Pacific Northwest Camp Shopbot on Sat. Oct.19,2013
Our host this year will again be Mike Miller, of Miller Marine products. For those of you who have attended prior Northwest Camps please be advised that Mike has moved to a larger facility.
His new location is:
17103 NW 11th Ave
Ridgefield, WA 98642.
He's about 1.5 miles off of Interstate -5 and he says he has plenty of room, and parking at the new facility. There are also numerous hotels/motels in the area.
Keep an eye on this thread for more info in the upcoming weeks...

I look forward to the get together. There is a Shilo Inn and a Choice Inn about 5 minutes away I will get some links to their web sites and post it.

I plan to have an informal meet and great for anyone interested the night before around my camp fire behind my house at the same address. I look forward to seeing everyone. Let me know if I can assist in anything.

If anyone is ridding the local bus their is a stop not too far away in Salmon Creek and we could pick you up there just let me know.

Thanks Mike

Choice Inn

There are other close by motels we are close to I5 & I205 so you can be to my shop in less than 20 minutes from just about anywhere in Vancouver. The Heathman Lodge is real nice located by the Vancouver Mall and would be about a 15 minute drive.

David,

Any opportunity to park a 23' RV close by? No hookups needed, just a place to park fairly level.

David,

There is a small RV park right off the freeway at my exit 1.5 miles away.

I should be able to go as well.
Anybody from Northern or Southern California that wants to share a ride? I live right off of Hwy 5.
Also, what will be covered in this northwest Camp Shopbot?

We're going to try something different for signing up. If you will go to- https://2013northwestcampshopbot.eventbrite.com (https://2013northwestcampshopbot.eventbrite.com/) you'll have the ability to sign up online. The "cost"for the tickets is FREE.
If you have already contacted us about attending the Camp you do NOT have to do this again.

Mike is interested to know if anyone wants to get together on the Friday evening before the Camp. Nothing structured, just a chance to hang out and BS about the 'Bot. Depending on the response we'll either do it at his shop, OR a local pizza place. If you'll be in the area Friday , and would like to attend, please drop me a note at- campshopbot "at" gmail.com and we'll see what the response is...

I wanted to let everyone know who might be staying off 134th St that they have been working on the freeway I-5 in that area and have closed the North bound on ramp for 134th St. I am going to attach a couple maps that will show a couple alternative routes to get to my shop.

If you are traveling I-5 and not stopping on 134th St nothing will change this is just for the folks staying off 134th St which is where I posted the links to the near by hotels earlier. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Mike

Thanks Mike, as I'm one of the people who have a room booked on 134th St ( Quality Inn...) !
If anyone wants to join us for pizza, etc. Friday evening we're going to meet at Mike's shop between 6-6:30. Once we see how many people show up, we'll figure out where we can go.
And to ALL those attending the Camp,Mike has asked that we do NOT park on the dirt area next to the driveway by his house as there is freshly planted grass there. We'll try to mark off that area, but if you have any doubts please check with one of us before parking.
Looks like another good showing of Campers for Saturday, looking forward to seeing everyone...

I look forward to seeing everyone it should be a great weekend even the weather report looks good.

I just wanted to make notice that second map link I posted is wrong I am not sure why it changed on its own but there is no on ramp where it shows, if you take that route you must stay on 20th Ave until it turns into 15th Ave and dead ends into 179th St the rest is correct. I think the map depicts the future NB on ramp location but it is not there yet.
