Happy Monday:

everything was working fine on friday. This morning we set up a job , checked the Z axis w/o problems.

when I go to zero the x,y axis the x hits against the left side and wants to continue to advance. (past 0 on the display.) It doesn't stop at 0.....

I shut off the bot and rebooted the Shopbot 3 program, but to no avail

usually a warning message about moving the bot off the stop switch comes up but not today.

how do I reset it to correctly zero the x,y axis?

thanks

Karl

:o never mind:

here's why you can't troubleshoot when class is in session and there are three kids asking questions...and I'm watching two at the table saw:

on closer inspection the left locking pin on the outer dust shroud (or whatever you call it) had backed out about 1/8" and that was just enough to bang against the plastic casing, preventing it from reaching the stop switch. Screw the pin back in place, run xy zero and all is good.

I'm sure I'll be back shortly with more questions
