Very cool! I am interested in andrino but am intimidated on how to get started. Any suggestions for a electronics novice? Thank you for sharing.

I suggest just buying one and an LED, that's all you need to get going. The Arduino Software comes with lots of examples on how to get LED's flashing and motors turning.
