A lot of this was done on the bot all the 2d work I then textured and did the 3d work with my die grinders, the bit in the Makita is a solid carbide bit made for cutting fiberglass, they are great in wood and last along time, they are like drawing with a pencil.

The wood was milled with my alaskan chainsaw mill.

Very cool. A little dremel love can really bring the part alive. And who doesn't like flame treated pine. Also,I have the mark III attached to my stihl 460 with the 36" ripping bar! I am so glad to see others using one too.

My milling setup is the basic alaskan I use a 10' oak board for the straightedge I have found grinding the chain to 5 degrees instead of the 10 the ripping chain comes with gives a better finish and faster cut.

My saw is a Stihl 660

660  oohhhhh. I have cc envy now! Schuweeet! I will have to look at the grind. I have found that the finish with 10 degrees to be quite rough. Maybe 5 degrees will save some time on the planer.

Thanks.
