It will allow me to reply to this, but it still will not allow me to start a new thread...

My question is about the VCarve software. The "File / Import" menu item is greyed out. So how would I import a .bmp file for example?

You can only import to an existing job so the import menus are greyed out until a job is loaded or a new one created.
