In the spirit of the season I’ve come up with a small 3-D model ( .stl ) that might be useful to some.
A decorative flourish that can add that extra touch to a frame, for example

It can be downloaded from our website.

Just click on the image and save the zip file.

Enjoy,
Michael

PS If you have problems downloading the file, send me an email and I'll send it off to you.

Here's a tip on how to create new items for this model.
I'm using Aspire for this but it can work in other programs as well

1: Set the component just below X0, Y0 as in picture 1
2: Use the circular copy with X0, Y0 being the center point to rotate around.

The examples shown are for 8 copies and 24 copies of the component.
Now you have more possible designs to work with...

Enjoy.

Michael,

Thank you and Merry Christmas. I have taken a while to learn what settings were necessary for the pattern to come out looking like your example. I had brought the model in, but did not know anything about 3D modeling, so it took me a while to figure it out. Thanks very much, because it is giving me a chance to study 3D cut files and that will prove very helpful to me in expanding my knowledge and use of my CNC! I appreciate your generosity very much.

Thanks again.
