Since Nancy did the Forum change last week(Thanks Nancy) I have to cut my pictures almost 70% in size from what I've always done up till last week:(
Hard to see detail in my pics that small.
Also I always use to see a thumbnail preview in the posts and now all I see is text and have to open every single one to make sure I'm not missing anything:(
Haven't done any computer changes on my part that I'm aware of.
Is there a setting I have to change?
Or is this just the way it will be from now on? :( :(
Thanks,
scott

Image Test using Image Resizer via right-click @ medium setting. 143k from 1.3 Mb. This was a Power Toy for XP, but it went away. I think these guys 'brought it back' for Win7 & 8: http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/

I do notice that the thumbnail preview is now missing from the forum. What's up with that?

It seems to work only if you insert an image using a url , the one previous (above) is located on my website....

BTW, this was my 2nd test of 3d carving. I know it's not the same as attaching an image like we have been doing but this works.

I’d at least like an accurate listing of the “rules”. According to the chart where you upload images, A jpeg can only be 620 X 280, yet the image Brady uploaded is 870 X 731…
My vote is for larger images… often it’s the small details that help answer a question or separate a wanna-be from the Master.

Also when someone posted several pics once you opened one, which opened in it's own window, you could click next and go through them all. Now you have to go back to the forum and click on the next shot. Much more cumbersome. Could be that such things still need a little admin work that Nancy hasn't gotten to yet.
I understand she has a couple other things she does there besides take care of the forum!

Thanks every one!
Brady, part of the problem is my Canon is set to shoot 4.05MB pics and using Irfanview for basic photos. Thanks.

2414724148Just testing.
OK, first pic was 1920X1080 resized 4.05MB pic at .jpg compression of 100%(Best quality).
second was a full size3400X2400 4.05MB pic at .jpg compression of 60%.
It ate both of them, but would NOT accept the original full sized pic.
Using Irfanview which is a free program I've been using for years for basic photo manipulation and viewing.

That's pretty typical for most forums. Also, if you're not logged in, you typically can't view images or download files.
