Steve…
I like all your stuff but especially the acanthus leaves. Did you model them yourself or purchase a file?
Thanks

I'M GLAD YOU DON'T POST THAT OFTEN!!! Because i'm so envious of the cool stuff you make! I still want to talk to you about making me a bed file, but "out of sight, out of mind" I don't see you, i forget about it. I'll try to remember to email you. What would you call that post...ZZ top? VERY COOL!

Hi Jack, yea what about that bed?
That post is a wood copy (sort of) of one of the columns at the entrance to the natural history museum in London and yes I call it the ZZ post, expect here in Canada it's called the Zed Zed post.;)http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=25183&stc=1

Love that arched weave grill in the second pic with the ??? in the corners!!
Architect for the Museum must either have had 5 Master Carvers he was trying to please OR he was a bloody Genius like St. Basils architect:)
So busy it Shouldn't work....But Does!
GREAT work!

Hi Scott, that grill you talking about is a sample valance for over a sink or something, so it's sideways, those are grape clusters in the corners.

Thanks Steve.
That one on the right reminds me of turn-of-the-century Craftsman stuff for some reason. Thinking something like that backed by some of my Mica sheethttps://www.ashevillemica.com/category/lampshade-mica would make some perfect interior window shutters that I've procrastinated for 15yrs.
Thanks for inspiration!
