Trying to come up with Ideas to diversify my inventory I like to draw out 2d rout outs and finish them by hand for relief wall hangings

So the t rex is the latest I have a few other dino skulls in process.

Did you torch the whole thing after hand carving, and then apply the "stone" paint, or concentrate the burn on the skull?
Soo....You've expanded into extinct "Critters"? :)
Teeth must have taken a while to (chisel?) finish?
Did you go back with a smaller torch, or is that black paint?
Be interesting how they sell.

I burn the whole thing and scrub it down with a nylon abrasive wheel in a drill the stone is just white and black acrylic dry brushed, the teeth are painted with brown with some black.

The teeth were done with die grinder and dremel I try to stay away from chisels on stuff like this, hemlock is difficult to hand carve and need to keep time per piece low.

I will get some pictures of the tools I am using.

Most of my 3/32" shaft bits are for stone,but now we have a Foredom handset that can take 1/4" shaft, I'm looking at bits that can shape/carve the the cross sawn edges of live edge. Belt and spindle sanders are nice, but looking for stuff that would resemble "Beaver chewed" or weathered on the 6/4 stuff.
My angle grinder is just too heavy/awkward/dangerous with toothed stuff operating from the wheelchair( came Way to close to my knees once:(

Make a mold of it Then pour concrete into it. Bury it about half way just leave enough above ground to catch someones eye... lol
