I found a wireless remote controll device at Home Depot that is designed to run Christmas lights. So for $10.00 bucks I thought I would give it a try on my router. Looking at the packaging it indicates its rated for 15amps. So after 50+ hours of machine time and probably 200 on-off cycles of the router it has not faulted. As a safety measure I disconnect it before I change the router bit or do any work around the router.

Bill, I bought the same one at Wally World for abour the same price, I am thinking more for the dust collector when I get the new shop all set up. That way no matter what I am running in the shop I will be able to control some of the chips.

I have a wireless control with two transmitters for the dust collector. I hook one of the transmitters on a belt loop and I have on/off control everywhere in the shop.
