Can't convert files

My shopbot computer finally bit the dust and I replaced it about a month ago. I downloaded control software to new computer and got it all set up and working fine. Except for one thing. It won't actually convert my .dxf files into shopbot files. When I try to convert everything appears to work: dialog box pops up, and I get the conversion successful popup. The problem is the converted file doesn't appear to actually exist. I have triple checked the settings on where the file is supposed to be created. I have done multiple searches on the entire hard drive for the files. The part files simply can not be found. It runs files converted on my design computer and transfered to the shop computer perfectly.
Any thoughts?

FYI, the machine is a PRT without any upgrades to the box. And I did download control software for that particular machine. Everything else has been working perfectly.
