Can this be done via the dip switches? I have a older ShopBot with a v3.54 board. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Currently the Y Axis moves very notchy. We switched the plug with the Z and the Z started doing the same thing. So I think it is a driver problem. Once again any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know board numbers offhand, so this may not apply to you....

This thread (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/26/1153.html#POST11924) will give you pointers. Note that we had to flip switches and solder a jumper.

Wes, Turn the number 4 switches for both "step" and "dir" off and turn the number 2 switches on to send a Y signal out the A plug on the board. If you are using version 3 software you can assign the Y to channel 4 using the "VI" command.
