I stumbled across a method to set the start point in PartWizard after importing a DXF file from AutoCadLT.
0. Import the DXF file
1. Ungroup
2. Select object
3. Zoom in on the area of the object where you want to place the start point. (I zoomed in until the black blocks were clearly separated.)
4. Right click on an EXISTING black block that you want to use as the new starting point.
5. Select Start Point from menu
6. Select Profile button, etc. as usual.
So far, after trying about fifty selections on a variety of objects, this method has worked perfectly. NOTE: I only tried this with the Profile button and the Area Clear button.
