Very new to toolpathing so would like your help.

I have a3D part that was scanned and there is a screw hole in it. I want to toolpath the part so the hole does not show. Then do a drill toolpath for that hole. Not sure how to go about this. I am using PW & PW3D.

Thanks for your help.

Bob,
Import the TOOLPATH from PWorks3D into PWorks2D & it will show a greyscale representation of the model. Then you can use the 'trace bitmap' tool to create an outline. You can also visually locate the drill hole & just draw a circle the correct diameter & place it where you need it in the part.

I think you'll get the idea once you try it for yourself. Give it a go...

I'm sure there are also a few threads dealing with this on the Vectric forum if you need additional information. (E.G. - http://vectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3551&highlight=vcarve )

but you forgot he wanted to eliminate the 3d hole. but you can forget that unless you have 3d drawing software. or pay Brady to do it for you (G)

Fill the screw hole with something like Bondo before scanning it.
