Zooming in

I have a elaborate floral pattern exported from Corel, it seems to have a few more vectors than I need, and I cant zoom in close to modify these.
Is there a way?

First try Change reorganize. Then use the first icon on the icon bar. Hold the left mouse button down and draw a box around what you want to see.
Also the minus and plus keys zoom in and out, left,right, up and down keys move you around.

That works nicely... unlimited zoom.
The drawing has a lot of small jagged lines, is it possible to smooth it out a bit? I have tried a few things but cant get that.
