Is ther a rough in for the rough in on VCarve?

I have got a job that has a lot of relief cut in the field. I know about the engraving selection that allows for a rough in cut and a finish cut. In this mode I have a .25 and a .125 end mill selected. The job models a two and a half hour run time. My question..... Is ther a way to select a .50 end mile for the field work, then the .25, then .125. I thought about running the engraving tool in to files, one .5/.25, the on .25/.125. The only problem with that is I will re-machine a lot of the same area again. The other thing I though of was to create some large shapes in the field. Mill thoses with a .5, then run the engrave tool with the .25 and .125.

You can create bounding boxes around the areas you want to machine I think, thus excluding the areas outside the bounding box. Not certain though...

That is correct Erik.

Draw vectors in the 2D view around the regions to machine (or use the image tracing tool) and calculate the toolpath with these boundaries selected.

When no vectors are selected the complete model is machined.
