In my 'ShopBot_mm' post file I don't see this command at the end 'SO,1,0' The spindle does shut off, but I'm curious where it gets the prompt to do this.

Any output switches that are turned on by a command within a file will turn off when the file ends, the exception being if the file was called by another file the switch(es) will turn off when the master file ends.

Thanks David. I just recently started using a relay/output 8 to start my spindle, instead of pushing the start button. I hadn't put a command in to turn off that output at the end of the file, and it seems to remain on?

Also, and it may be that this should be a separate post, but what does output 4 do. I see that I have to have both 1 and 4 on for the spindle to turn on. Just trying to learn my way around this thing.

Nat...
Output 4 is on when the machine is active... partfile running (even if paused) or keyboard. As you probably have found,it takes both to run the spindle.
