I have drawn up a spiral 3-d column in Autocad and need to know what software it takes to get that into a shopbot cutting file. the file is 1/8 of the complete column and is a 3-d solid object in autocad. The part would be cut from a 2" thick by 40"x9" piece.

Is there anyone who can do this or is there a software package that would do this. I want to be able to cut it with both a 1/4" ball cutter and a 1/2" cove bit. This would be two seperate cutting files to see which one works best.

Where in the world is Bill Palumbo? I bet he could answer this one?

Thanks,

Dave

That was "cutting" file if you did not see through my fat finger typo on the title.

Here is a link to a autocad render of the part I am speaking of.
