Joystick?

Since the primary use of my Shopbot is for larger relief carving, I find that I am frequently adjusting and readjusting positions for the router. I've been thinking that it would be helpful to be able to make the adjustments with a long cabled joystick rather than hopping back and forth from the keyboard.

Does anyone know what it would take to set up something like this?

What about a "fly by wire" set up? In other words a joystick controled jog.I think it would have to be a software setup or upgrade.Could you wire it into the control box?

Try a wireless keyboard and mouse - works great - I have the Logitec one. I don't recommend using the "K" command as it seems to lose steps, but for carting around the shop as a panic stop button and for moving around with jog and move commands it's super.
