Jig for Louvered Shutter Mortises?

I've got a millwork customer who has been giving me regular work cutting the small mortises on the stiles of louvered shutters. I've got a decent method for doing this work, but it involves cutting a new fixture for each size stile.

Anyone have a design for an adjustable fixture or jig for holding pairs of stiles of varying sizes?

Hi Joel

You could make one similar to a jig we use for holding small components with various packers.

If you made one long enough for the max size doors you produce, then insert an offcut when you machine smaller door parts.
