I'm getting ready to glue down my spoilboard, which previously was bolted down. I'm thinking I need a relatively slow setting glue to allow me to get aligned and weighted or temp screwed down until the glue dries. I've read everything from white carpenters glue to silicone adhesive. Any further input before I tackle this job? By the way, no vacuum hold down involved on my SB.

I used regular old titebond II.

Titebond makes a slower setting version of their glue called "Extend", and it gives you plenty of time to get the spoil board aligned before it starts to kick...

I am wondering how to change the spoil board when it is glued down?

Most people just use their 'Bot to plane off the unwanted layer.....
