Signmakers, I was driving around (a.k.a. I was a bit lost) and saw a sign that was very unique (or at least to me).
The sign was a for a township ("Welcome to ..."). The lettering was v-carved into a thick clear panel (perhaps 1" acrylic) and the letters were gold-leafed. Behind the acrylic panel was backed up by a dark painted panel. The light passing through the acrilic and shadows formed by the floating gold-leafed letters was stunning.
