Use wood background

this sign could have been done in signfoam but is was redwood. i built the cedar background and like the contrast between the woods. We did not polyurethane the redwoods but used a stain called Sign Life. they still make it but i do not know what is best to use these days since there are so many improvments since this was done around 1992 probably. Most of the redwood signs i have posted were done by us for a friend who tried to start a business in another city. he developed lung cancer and passed in 2002. He was a good sales person who liked quality work. I had to try harder than i would just doing things for me. I am too easy to please because i just want to make signs and get paid to feed the family. I have never done a sign that i thought could not be improved on or was totally happy with. Just confessin
