Well I had cracked my router mount tightening it. My buddy an aircraft mechanic took a look at it and created a bomb proof fix for it, the 3/16" steel straps are attached on both sides of the mount with extreme PSI rated aircraft hardware then the 2 strap are bolted together to tighten the mount. I've been running it this way for over a year now with no problems. If anyone has a cracked router mount or would like to beef theirs up let me know, I'll ask him what he'd charge to do the work.
