I'm just starting to consider cutting signs. I've been doing mostly cabinet parts with a 1/4" spiral.

What sort of bits should I have for signmaking, and or 3-D work?

What are some good places to get these?

Thanks all!

Happy Thanksgiving

V's and ball-end... I'd suggest V from 60, 90 and something like 120-135 degree... a good ball-end set would be from 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2" and I would suggest further to choose extended reach... You might want to take a look at Hartlauer bit (www.hartlauer-bits.com (http://www.hartlauer-bits.com)) which is locate in Oregon; they have a p'etty good choice and design and are reseller for some of the finest bits available... from their WWW site, you can download their catalog (PDF format) and they have a discount on bits with "free" shipping (depend on how your in hurry!) I really like the service I get from 'em; many detailed infos and suggestions...
