Hi Guys -

I have looked throught the archieves and haven't found anything so I thought that I would ask.

I am going to cut Excell White PVC, 3/4". I know about the speeds, and to use a upcut with a clean out cut. However I have not found any details on the Super O or the Spiral O, only some suggestions. So which do you guys prefer and do you have a good source to order them from???

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

I'm very, partial to the Belin O's. These are extremley sharp, jewel like bits. Made in France. Not that expensive either. www.dixieneon.com (http://www.dixieneon.com)

For your application I'd use a double fluted strait bit which leaves the cuttings in place. That way the product or letter doesn't move. No, it won't melt the PVC back together.

Good luck.

Thank you Joe for all you help on this. I cut my first sign letterd from PVC this past weekend and it went pretty well. I have some tale issues, but the Belin bits were awsome!
