How anal to get with measuring

I've been setting up slowly and have tracked down a problem to the car that will be fixed soon....i hope
In my checking and rechecking found an error in my level with feeler gauges of .007 between the straightness of the two faces
My question is what tolerances am I looking for as I goof my way through this?

You don't have to go too crazy. The powdercoating finish can be off by that much...Just do the best you can, and it will all come out in the wash. When I 1st put my Bot together, it took me 2 days to get the gantry 'dead on' only to do something stupid the 1st week and completely knock it out of alignment
While that was an issue with older models like I had, it isn't so much with the new ones.
