Note that this refurbished system has a very small case: 3.57" x 13.93" x 12.54", but that only low-profile cards are supported. There is one PCI and one PCI Express Slot.

The site makes it easy to configure the system to your liking.

My wife has this machine as a company computer. Over heating is a problem. She works @ home and has to run with the case open.

Steven, I have seen this type of thing often. Many times these boxes have poor circulation internally creating hot spots. You should try to add a small fan inside the case drawing away from the video card. Vid cards and some NICs (network) cards are like oven elements and I have had great luck with fans similar to this one.(http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=120) If you have the slots move the cards away from each other.

I know the company should make stuff better but...

This is the computer I use. I bought it from a local co. that refurbishes computers. I bought it in a pinch for $60.00 to use for a month or two to get me by until I could upgrade. I've used it for a year and a half. Still going strong, and I'm not a big Dell fan.

I have that same case from Dell also. I had to replace the power supply three times under warranty from heating issues. Once it goes again I will just toss it as the warranty is up. I gave it to my dad to play computer games on. Got tired of messing with it.
