Has anyone been able to output files from E-Cabinet Systems software to a Shopbot?
I have been using E-Cabinets for designing kitchens with good results but now want to get a CNC machine to raise production.
Do I need to scrap E-cabinets if I buy a Shopbot?

From what I understand, you have to own a Thermwood router to use e-cabinet systems software since it only outputs to Thermwood routers. I have a copy of e-cabinet software but haven't installed it since it would be useless to me. It sounds like a great program, discounts and all, but do you want a Thermwood that badly?

No I don't want a Thermwood. The cheapest machine is $65,000 or $1500/month.
I have been printing out the cut lists and cutting the sheets of ply by hand.
It is nice to show the customer what the kitchen will look like.
Would really like to be able to export to Shopbot.

Roger, go to the Keyword Search (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/cgi-bin/discus/board-search.cgi) at the bottom of this page and do a search on Thermwood. There have been a couple of discussions on this Forum already.
