Wheres the beef?

One of three signs I helped a local shop with. These signs are 14' long, 4' tall. I ship-lapped two 8' sections of 1/2" MDO. Glued the joints with Gorilla. Sent the panels back to their shop. They did the digital print. I made some templates of the outline and then flush routed them out. They applied the dimensional letters and installed. Piece o' cake!

How is it mounted to the structure?

2x6 beams attached to the back of the sign linked up to some cleats on the barn. They only used liquid nails to attach the mount to the sign. When I delivered it, the liquid nails glue was pulling away so they ended up putting some screws through the face in the dark spots. The installation wasn't as thought out as it should have been, but they look good. They are currently at Orange County, CA fairgrounds.
