That turned out really good Tyler. Are you going to put any oil or clear over it?

Thanks alot everyone. I am trying to find some marine varnish to finish the sign but i'm having a hard time finding a store that carries it around here. Haha, to be honest with you mitch i looked for a week for the graphics and then my wife found this one in about 5 minutes and i'm not sure where she found it.

Use min-wax helmsman spar urethane. Home Depot carries it by me.

Tung Oil or Danish Oil would also be good choices.

How do they hold up to being exposed to the outdoors? and how often would they need to be reapplied?

Nice job Tyler.

There are lots of vectors similar to that in the Mega collection from http://www.vectorart.com/
I have the Blue book I think it is number 1. They have 2 & 3. Lots of 2D stuff great for signage. I am not a sign maker, but the bot is.
You can't help but make a few.
I think it was close to $300.00 but it has paid for itself in the 2 years I have had it.

Gene that looks like a real quality product but it doesn't seem to be available where i live, unless i order it from Vancouver. I know very little about the finishing process required to end up with a quality produt. there are so many choices out there, i guess i just need to pick one and go with it.
David your exactly right. My wife found it in the Mega Collection from Vector Art.

Tyler, I like Sikkens Cetol 1. It looks fantastic on cedar (my opinion).

Darren that does look good. How does it hold up to the outdoors?

I have used the Sikkens Cetol 1 of all my outdoors signs. It last great in our blazing sun. We don't have any real cold weather here, so I can not comment on that use. The product is sold in my area for log homes and decks. great product.
