I made the trek to the military hospital where Jimmy unveiled the finished plaque to the veterans. If you ever want to do something to make yourself feel better about yourself do something like this or get involved with some of these veterans.

Jimmy was there along with the fellow who did the painting on the plaque along with a couple of representitives for the vets who spoke and although I have always appreciated what these fine men and women have done for us being around them gives you a far greater appreciation for the things they have done for us.

And something as seemingly simple as making a plaque that honors them brought tears to the eyes of some of the older vets who didn't experience the appreciation that we show our vets today.

Some of them didn't know what a shopbot was or how it was created but admired what the plaque stood for.
Frankly it was a humbling experience and symbolically meant a great deal to many of them and something that I was glad I participated in and I recommend that all of you do something, maybe not on this scale, but something local in your communities to honor these people. You will get more out of it then they will, I promise.

Jimmy does nice work. He should, at least, be crowned Shopbot Ambassador to something or other for making this panel. Here is true selfless American dedication at it's finest.

I'm proud to call Jimmy a friend.
