Amana In Groove insert engraving bit

Does anyone have experience with Amana's In Groove insert engraving bit?

Is it cost effective, insert replacement @ $20 versus replacing a traditional bit for $50+?

Haven't tried the engraving bits yet, but I have one of their insert miterfold bits. Seems to work pretty good. I'm not using it for it's intended purpose though
The sharp tip broke off fairly quick, but I think it was because I'm torturing it.

The inserts are easily replaced and can be done while the bit is still chucked up.
