Job assembled and ready for the customer. 14 sheets cut out - 2 chairs per sheet. Sheets came in at 9 AM on Thursday, finished by noon on Friday. Took me two more days to round over the 168 parts, both sides, finished on Tuesday. By Thursday, the customer had picked up the parts and delivered to a Special Ed art class in the Chicagoland area.
Painting was a sample by the teacher. Students painted skylines.
Originally the goal was to make 60 chairs, but they only had funding for 28. I plan on cutting them out locally for people. Buy one sheet of material, you keep a chair and you give a chair to this class.
That's what you call a production line! good job:)
Nice job Greg!

Nice job what type of material did you use.
Material is 3/4" MDF
Really nice. I wish EU regulations didn't make it virtually impossible for small scale makers like myself to do similiar over here but I suppose it's for the good of the children.
The jobs where the customer paints them are always the best!
Greg did you ever manage to sort out a finished file for Aspire. It would be great if I could have a copy.
Thanks
Brian
I get the same message about lack of permission. Bummer :(
These would be neat projects for the local elementary school kids to assemble and take home.
