ShopBot Software

I bought a Buddy in 2011. I've used it for 2D cabinet and fixture building only. Working Fine. I am beginning to make very limited 3D items we learned at SB School in NC. I want to step up my interest and understanding. I believe my SB Alpha came with necessary software? There was a carving pro disk that came with the machine's book at initial school. Do I need to purchase VCarve Pro or Desktop to import Vector clip Art from other than Vectric? I'm really green at this and would like to understand. Thanks

You might want to e-mail Vectric and see about an upgrade to V-Carve Pro V9. It is a reasonable amount of money and is a logical step to Aspire maybe in the future ...joe
