Looks like it'll be a nice bed! How did you cut the mortises?
They are sapele. The posts are glued of three pieces and made I the mortises during the glue up by spacing out the center pieces. It will have a Waterfall Bubinga headboard.
That really sounds a nice project. Can't wait to see the final result
