20-30' is actually a pretty short run for ethernet CAT5 or even a RG6 (coaxial) if you want to use a regular tv. Even USB can be run that long.

If you have a 3D model or some accurate dimensions of the sphere, I can do it for you. I use autodesk inventor that can flatten the piece.

Just a little update. I've tried cutting the same letters in a hardwood using a 30 degree v-bit. The resolution is actually quite good on the bot. Just waiting for brass to come in to do a real test....
