Phil,
That would be specific to the program you're using to create toolpaths. Which program is that?
Mike,
That is center to center, but Donn has a good point. You probably want to verify the distance between rollers and shoot for that.
Hey guys and gals,
Whoever created this site (just last month) chose a name that is MUCH, MUCH too similar to carve3d.com, an established, reputable business and a long-time friend to us...
Mike,
My 2006 model PRT Alpha 10' x 5' has the rails at exactly 78.25" apart.
Mitch, Mitch, Mitch,
You had me worried with #3. :-)
Zach,
I chose to buy ShopBot because of this forum and the indexer and have never, ever regretted it. The indexer is an incredible...
Sorry to miss you, Bill. It was a great camp.
Wayne, thanks again for the hospitality.... and the fajitas!! You sure know how to throw a party!
Nice work, Randall. It's getting better and better!
Hi guys. Thanks for the comments.
The acrylic was 1/2" thick and it holds up to my jumping on it, so it should work for a while. I've got thicker stuff if this should break.
The size and...
Hey 'botters, Happy New Year!
I hope everyone is well. I wanted to share a small project with you.
One of the kids' wooden skateboards was left in the grass where I sometimes park my truck....
Beautiful work, Don. Especially the glazing. I'm sure you had a happy customer.
One small step for Vectric, One giant leap for indexing!
This is one powerful tool! Thanks Brian!

Beautiful! Are those solid slabs?
Lynn,
You have email.
Nice job, Jack!
That's one great looking table surface. I think you need some grooves in it now! Set that z just a little lower....
I guess you can't change a photo using the forum post edit function. Here it is.

Steve,
As far as vectorizing goes, this is all you need to do (see image). The rest is just an array copy of this pattern.
I would use MDO, PVC or HTPE for the material, but that's just...
I built a custom table with a "trough" in it for the indexer, so I've just added thin ply to the sides of the trough to box it in. You could probably do something similar to catch most of the dust. ...
Steve,
I had a customer do the same thing to me. He created lines that were not all on the same plane. In top view, using Turbocad, you can select each line segment individually and set the z...
Glen, that's amazing! Very creative!
Really nice, James!!!
I think I would try to strap a moose on my table before I would try to carve a pumpkin! What a mess! But..... I guess I would use my indexer for the pumpkin.
Man, it's hard to keep up with you...
