I've got a small generator but isn't big enough to run the bot. The electric company is still calling for 3 to 5 days before power is restored. At least its a long weekend.

I forgot to mention you have to draw rectangle instead of a line and then use a pocket cut.

I think a way around this is a single line cut 1" deep is a pocket cut . Why not do a pocket cut instead of a profile cut.

I had the same problem and called support and the problem was the update changed the the my variables to having a atc. Bill is right on with the diagnosis. Ted at shopbot didn't know why it changes...

Tried new usb to serial adapter and no luck. I guess time to call support.

Going to try a usb to serial cable to see if that works. Can't download firmware if you cannot make connection.

Problem solved. I have webroot software on my office computer and when I shut it down and tried it it worked. Then I turned it back on it still worked. I'm getting to old for this kind of stuff....
