I see. I have a 3G controller now and am limited to 3.6.46 last updated 2013
Even with an early 4G controller, the newest controller software can be used, do I have that correct?
I'm confused. Version 3.8.46 appears to be a release that hasn't happened yet. Do you mean 3.6.46?
I have the agenda for Fri and Sat but somehow I missed what time to arrive this Thursday?
This is very interesting as I am going to be doing my first aluminum very shortly.
1. Once you "add" the WD40 to the "clay tray" do you need to make up for loss as it cuts? Did a bunch get on the...
Excellent! I'll request the update purchase on Monday!
So John, you do have the Partworks 4.0 or whatever it is called? Not Aspire 4.0 but the shopbot Partworks 4.0, correct?
Vectric V-Carve Pro 7.0 has been released now for more than a month. Shopbot's Partworks 4.0 is supposed to be the equivalent for Vectric's product as far as I know. I have not received an email...
I recently bought two 4 x 8 pieces of that exact stuff (mine had that cardboard or whatever it is on both sides though). I paid $40 each.
It is for insulating flat roofs; I got it at a roofing...
Looks good! I've thought about an indexer before. I see you have one. Dust collection for it must be near zero though...
I use this:
http://www.woodcraft.com/product/2080165/28298/ivac-automated-shop-vacuum-switch.aspx
Since the "vacuum" and "tool" circuits are separate, I easily hacked this to allow a 240 volt...

Is there any way to set (as a preference?) to have as default when using the keypad to move at jog speed?
Posted .dxf.
It would seem to me to make this forum allow direct posting of .crv files also...
I could not get the zipping to work so I added a .pdf to the end of the .crv file in my above post.
It should work now. Download the file and after downloading remove the .pdf from the end of the...
I don't have a problem as I rarely ever use clamps but screws flush with the top to hold down material. Once it is cinched up, the bottom of it comes almost even with the bottom of the router collet...
More pics and .crv file.
.CRV file shows as a .pdf file since that is the only way I could get this board software to upload it. Download it and remove the .pdf and it should be its original .crv...
Attached are photos of a dust boot I fabbed the other day when my original finally bit the dust (sorry).
I also attached the cutting file and more pics (due to pic limit) on the next thread entry...
Sean, just to be clear I think you meant your Porter Cable router cut this at 18,000 rpm?
I thought I would post this since I have found very little info on how to cut an angle on the edge of a piece on the Shopbot. Many times it is dismissed with "easier to cut an angled edge on a...
On one of the forums I frequent, it has Search This Forum via Google as a drop down choice under the Search button. It does the same thing Ron says and would be a nice addition to this forum.
This company appears to be the maker of much of the speaker grille cloth available in the marketplace. They sent me, free of charge, this nice display of samples of their actual fabrics. For my...
I posted it here

First, a confession. I tried to use the Porter Cable mount with my PRS standard and Milwaukee router. Even though I shimmed it, the flange on the casting broke when I went to tighten the bolt. As...
I have a Milwaukee router and ended up using an aftermarket holder that, with the optional adapter plate, allows the router to go lower and also, unlike the P-C mount from Shopbot fits the Milwaukee...
